Sunday will see Bob Baxter back in our pulpit.  Bob, the local BU Mission Networker was a great help to the church during the vacancy.  He has many friends in Hawick and we look forward to what God has to say to s through him on Sunday.

After  comprehensive report back from the Cafe Church "team" the serious and active planning for the start of Open House Community starts.  The first historic meeting of the newly appointed leadership will take place on Thursday 5th February 2009.  Pray for the team.

What a day we had in Glasgow!  Cafe Church Network put on a Training day.  8 of our members attended and had our opened at what God is doing through the cafe church network.

Costa Coffee, Starbucks and Gloria Jean's Coffees are the big three in coffee shops and they are all welcoming CafeChurch Network members into their premises.  What an opportunity this presents to churches seeking to reach into their communities!

We are not blessed with any of these big three coffee people in Hawick, but we will have an open meeting on Wednesday 28th January, to decide on the way forward.
